These bangles are from the second half of the 20th century, and most are made of Lucite, hard plastic, or resin. To learn more about vintage non-Bakelite plastic bangles, I recommend "Plastic Bangles" by Lyn Tortoriello and Deborah Lyons ( 2005, Schiffer Books).

OPB335	These look like vintage Lea Stein to me, but since neither is signed, I can't be 100% sure. However, the quality of the plastic on these is unmistakable. I thought these two pieces belonged together: a rose mosaic pattern bangle, and a rose and cream lozenge shaped pin (with the typical Stein embedded back). Price is for both:	150.00

OPB248	I am not entirely sure what this is. It's not Bakelite, could be Lucite, it was sold to me as Celluloid-- but, it is some sort of injected dot/bowtie, and a very wonderful piece. Definitely vintage, 50s from the look of it. The hinge is quite tight, and if you wore this it would fit snugly. It's translucent peach, and opaque cream.	HOLD
